Julian is an experienced senior business development and marketing executive operating globally often in complex trading blocs such as China. Amongst his work on a broad spectrum of committees, Julian is the current Chair of ISO standards committee for cinematography (TC36) and is a full voting member of BAFTA.

ADRIAN CICHOSZ
Adrian Cichosz is best described as a media-technologist. With a background in technical project management at a leading post-production company in Germany, Adrian has since built 10 years’ experience within the cinema advertising industry of, primarily, the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets. His initial development of an integrated content upload platform and fully-automated mastering and encoding process solidified his rightful leadership and creation of Weischer.Q, an international cinema ad-tech solutions company, of which he is Managing Director. Adrian leads a team of enthusiastic engineers, developers, consultants and product managers that have since defined a ubiquitous peer-to-peer communications method for pre-show cinema delivery and scheduling with compatible theatre management systems and has recently developed the world’s first solution for programmatic cinema.

JENNY DOUGLASS

Jenny Douglass is the Group Director of Operations across Pearl & Dean, Pearl & Dean Ireland and the wider group. She is responsible for the end-to-end operational process and delivery across the group. Key focuses include; providing the most efficient and effective campaign delivery across all key stakeholders, digital transformation across the group with continuous evolution of technology and systems. She has 10 years of experience within operation across out-of-home and cinema. She has a Masters in Business Psychology (MSc), with a particular passion for organisational change and wellbeing.

MATT DESBOROUGH

As the global lead for Dolby services and training for the content creation industries, Matt draws up strategy to assist the adoption of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos in postproduction. This includes defining mix studio certification schemes and content support services, as well as contributing to Dolby’s content creation tool strategy.
Matt joined Dolby in 2001 and has previously held positions as Director of Content Services and Senior Field Engineer. In these roles, Matt had a key role in the launch of Dolby Atmos into cinema and postproduction and led Dolby’s technical engagements at several major film festivals and tradeshows, including Festival de Cannes, Cannes Lions, and Cine Europe.

With nearly 20 years experience at Unique X, Phil has filled a number of key roles including CTO, COO and now Chief Commercial Officer. Phil has been instrumental in the design and proliferation of the Unique X suite of cinema solutions across exhibition, distribution and advertising generating a wealth of experience and understanding in all three pillars of the theatrical space. Phil’s technical and software development background helped further the evolution of Unique X’s Advertising Accord platform which is now the most populated ad-server technology in cinema advertising worldwide.

Raj Sehgal has been a sound designer and mixer on TV commercials for more than 25 years, a Cinema mixer for Commercials for more than 15 years, and for trailers for the last 7 years. He was one of the first commercial mixers to mix in 5.1 Dolby Digital and has worked on many Award-winning International Cinema campaigns including Nike’s “Write the Future,” Coca Cola, Adidas, and Heineken. One of the experts on worldwide Cinema Advertising audio specifications, Raj mixes regularly for worldwide territories.

Tim Corbett is a 15 year veteran of Digital Cinema Media serving as Head of IT. During his tenure at DCM, Tim has overseen the digitisation of the UK’s leading cinema advertising sales house, working with both Advertisers and Exhibitors across the Industry to create ‘best practice’ within the Pre-Show sector.

TOM BERT

Tom Bert (°1979) joined Barco in 2006. After initial roles in research & innovation, he moved to the cinema department in 2010 where he worked in Product Marketing and Product Management. Since 2021 he heads up the Product team, overlooking the portfolio of projectors, servers, audio and the software suite around it. He holds an Ph.D. from Ghent University and an MBA from the Vlerick Business School. He is a board member of the European Digital Cinema Forum (EDCF) and of the Digital Subcommittee of SAWA, the Global Cinema Advertising Association.
