Cheryl Wannell initially joined SAWA in 2003 when she relocated to London and in 2006 returned to Australia and now runs the Secretariat from the Sydney Office. In 2004, she became General Manager, responsible for running the Global Trade body, reporting to the Executive Council and the President of SAWA. Previously, Cheryl worked for twenty years with Val Morgan Cinema Advertising based in Australia and was at the time of relocating to the United Kingdom in 2003, Managing Director Worldwide responsible for the 11 operations throughout the world. Her background is in Marketing, Sales, and Business Management.

Mark has more than 14 years experience within the Cinema Advertising business, both in the European and U.S. markets. He has successfully managed projects both in the deployment of E-Cinema and the delivery of advertising to D-Cinema – providing a technical liaison between Exhibitor, Advertiser, and solution provider. Mark’s current role has focus on developing the integration between pre-show creation and digital presentation in an ever developing market sector.

Julian Pinn, Ltd provides technical and strategic consultancy services to a wide range of international clients. Julian has more than 20 years of experience in the global motion picture industry as an audio and 2D & 3D imaging specialist consulting on hundreds of international movies over their techno-artistic optimization of the medium. Julian is an experienced senior business development and marketing executive operating globally often in complex trading blocs such as China. Amongst his work on a broad spectrum of committees, Julian is the current Chair of ISO standards committee for cinematography (TC36) and is a full voting member of BAFTA.

STEFAN KUHLOW
Since 2016, Stefan Kuhlow is CEO of Werbeweischer GmbH & Co. KG the leading Cinema Advertising company in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Head of Digital Business of Weischer.Media GmbH & Co. KG.
Stefan gained Out-of-Home experience as a trainee and as an assistant to the manager at DSM Deutsche Städte Medien GmbH in Frankfurt. From 1999-2013 he turned the small start-up Infoscreen into the biggest Digital Out-of-Home Media company in Germany and became CEO of Ströer Digital GmbH before joining Weischer in 2013.

PATRICK VAN DIJCK
Patrick Van Dijck (45) is the Managing Director of Belgian advertising sales house Brightfish (formerly Screenvision Belgium). Prior to joining Screenvision in 2005 he served as Director Cinema Operations at European cinema advertising network RMB International. He also held different sales and marketing positions within IP Belgium, Sobemap Marketing and ASK BMI.

TOM BERT

Tom Bert is the Sr. Product Manager for Digital Cinema at Barco. After a PhD at Ghent University, he worked in different R&D roles inside Barco before moving to the Digital Cinema division in 2010. He first worked as Product Marketing Manager, moving in 2015 to Product Management. In this position, he leads all activities on Series 2 projectors and Media Servers.

Raj Sehgal has been a sound designer and mixer on TV commercials for more than 25 years, a Cinema mixer for Commercials for more than 15 years, and for trailers for the last 7 years. He was one of the first commercial mixers to mix in 5.1 Dolby Digital and has worked on many Award-winning International Cinema campaigns including Nike’s “Write the Future,” Coca Cola, Adidas, and Heineken. One of the experts on worldwide Cinema Advertising audio specifications, Raj mixes regularly for worldwide territories.
